The name Shadow Point relates to the shadows which form over the vineyard as the setting sun falls in the west. San Bernabe AVA is in California’s central Coast region, where it the grapes benefit from cool evening breezes that help to maintain natural freshness. Following a gentle pressing and cool fermentation, 20% of the wine is aged for 6 months in used French oak barrels.
