WHAT ARE THE WSET COURSES?

WSET qualifications are globally recognised as the international standard in wine and spirit knowledge. They are designed for those who are just starting out in their careers, as well as established professionals, and the many enthusiasts who have a passion for wines and spirits.

The WSET was founded in London in 1969. Today their courses are available in over 70 countries in 15 languages.

The Wine Place is a WSET Approved Programme Provider.

HOW DO THE COURSES WORK?

The WSET courses give a global view of the world of wine using practical and down to earth teaching methods.

All courses include an exam, which are sent to the WSET in London to be marked. Successful students receive a certificate of credition.

  • Blind tasting exam of 2 wines in 30 minutes
  • Student must attain a combined mark of 55% across the two part of the exam
