Bellefontaine Merlot is a red wine from Languedoc, France, made by Bellefontaine. It comes from Mediterranean-climate vineyards that favour full, balanced ripening of the variety. Made entirely from Merlot, it offers aromas of ripe plum and black fruits with light spicy nuances. On the palate it is round and smooth, with friendly tannins, good structure and a pleasant, balanced finish. An approachable, expressive red that reflects the fruit-forward, easy-going character of Merlot from southern France.
