Description
Vaona Valpolicella Ripasso is a red wine made in the Valpolicella appellation, Italy, by Vaona. It is produced using the ripasso method, whereby the young wine is re-fermented on the Amarone skins, adding structure and complexity. Made from the traditional varieties Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, it shows aromas of ripe cherry, red fruits and subtle spicy notes. On the palate it is balanced and enveloping, with soft tannins, good freshness and a persistent finish. An elegant Ripasso that combines intensity and harmony.
