The grapes are carefully selected from old vine Zinfandel vineyards in the Lodi region of central California, a hot region known for producing excellent quality Zinfandel. Following a traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks a proportion of the wine is aged for a short time in oak barrels to add complexity.
