Description
Santa Cristina Vermentino is a Toscana IGT white made by Santa Cristina to express the fresh, mineral character of a traditional Tuscan grape variety. The winery is located near Cortona and was established in 2006 to renew a tradition associated with Santa Cristina for more than six decades. The wine focuses on freshness, savoury character and clean aromatic expression, with vinification carried out entirely in stainless steel.
After destemming, crushing and gentle pressing, the must is chilled to encourage natural clarification. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where the wine remains until bottling. In the glass it shows a profile of tropical fruit and citrus alongside floral and herbal notes. The palate is balanced, savoury and fresh, with a mineral feel and a clean citrus-driven finish.
