Description
Quinta da Romaneira Petit Verdot is a red wine from the Douro Valley, Portugal, made by Quinta da Romaneira. It comes from hillside vineyards on slate soils that favour optimal ripening of this Bordeaux-origin variety. The nose shows intense black fruit, violet notes and an elegant spicy background. On the palate it is structured and concentrated, with firm yet polished tannins, good acidity and a long, persistent finish. A powerful, refined red that expresses Douro character through a distinctive variety.
