Description
Château de Belleverne Chénas is a red wine from the Chénas appellation, one of Beaujolais’ historic crus, made by Château de Belleverne. From vineyards on granite and clay soils, it is made entirely from Gamay. The nose offers aromas of ripe red fruits, violet and subtle spicy notes. On the palate it is more structured than many Beaujolais, with fine tannins, good concentration and a persistent finish that brings depth. An elegant, characterful Chénas that combines freshness and structure.
