Wilfred and Jacquie Franc de Ferriere have been making wine at Château Carbonneau for nearly a quarter of a century, now with the assistance of their sons Hugo and Pierre. The estate is situated on the eastern limits of Gironde straddling both the communes of Pessac sur Dordogne and Gensac. They have 23 ha of vineyards and 22 ha for the Aquitaine Blond cattle, providing full natural manure based fertiliser for the vineyards.. The practise organic and biodynamic farming. This wine has been aged on leas for a month prior to bottling to add body.
