The year was 1927 when Hermann Heinz Theodor Schroeder settled down in Patagonia and began working in the wine industry. In 2001, Hermann Schroeder, the son of this German immigrant, gave start to the project involving his sons, who are currently managing the business.
When Familia Schroeder winery was being built, workers uncovered the bones of a large herbivore dinosaur. The singularity of the find, inspired the name SAURUS for these premium set of wines.
Frequent winds, cool nights, long summer days, scarce rainfall and morning dew. The main climatic factors of the Patagonian steppe, combine to render the bright freshness and fragrance of this Pinot Noir Rose.
Delicious Pinot of delicate floral aromas like rose petals and orange blossom. Fresh, fruity and balanced with mouthwatering acidity. Four months at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks with its fine lees to obtain a creamy mouthfeel.
