The year was 1927 when Hermann Heinz Theodor Schroeder settled down in Patagonia and began working in the wine industry. In 2001, Hermann Schroeder, the son of this German immigrant, gave start to the project involving his sons, who are currently managing the business. When Familia Schroeder winery was being built, workers uncovered the bones of a large herbivore dinosaur. The singularity of the find, inspired the name SAURUS for these premium set of wines.
Saurus Chardonnay has a distinct greenish yellow color. In the nose, citric and tropical fruit aromas Six hours of maceration in pneumatic press, obtaining the flower must with low pressure. Alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts and oak insert stave at low temperature in stainless steel tanks, for 15 days, with an average temperature of 14-16°C.
