Description
MacRobert & Canals Abbotsdale Syrah is a red wine from Swartland made by Bryan MacRobert from vineyards in the Abbotsdale area. Made 100% from Syrah, it comes from dry-climate parcels on granite soils, which favour low yields and high concentration. Fermented with minimal intervention and aged in used barrels, it seeks purity and varietal expression. It offers aromas of blackberry, plum, black pepper and light floral notes. On the palate it is fresh and structured, with fine tannins, good acidity and a long finish that reflects Swartland’s elegant, spicy character.
