Description
R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Gran Reserva is a red wine made in Rioja Alta by R. López de Heredia. It comes from historic vineyards on the Viña Tondonia estate by the Ebro River and is produced using traditional methods with long ageing in barrel and bottle. It is composed mainly of Tempranillo, with Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo. The nose offers complex notes of ripe red fruit, leather, spices and delicate balsamic hints. On the palate it is elegant and deep, with polished tannins, great freshness and a long finish that reflects its extraordinary ageing potential.
