Ktima Kir-Yianni Assyrtiko
Ktima Kir-Yianni in Naoussa, was founded in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris, one of the leading figures in the Greek wine industry, is one of the most spectacular vineyards in Greece, over a hilly landscape of 56 ha.
Assyrtiko is an indigenous Greek grape. It has aromas of citrus fruits, apricots and flowers. On the palate it is dry with citrus and white stone fruit flavours with a hint of minerality and fresh acidity.
Assyrtiko is ideal for fish and seafood, pasta in white sauce, white cheeses.
Decanter Word Wine Awards 2018 – Silver Medal. Ktima Kir-Yianni was ranked 48th in the Top 50 List of the “World’s Best Vineyards”, an award conceived by William Reed Business Media.
