Finca El Bosque is a red from Viñedos Sierra Cantabria made from 100% Tempranillo grown in a 1.482-hectare vineyard in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, planted in 1973. The site lies on deep sandy-clay and calcareous-clay soils with gravel and abundant rounded stones. Grapes are harvested by hand, with bunch selection followed by rigorous berry-by-berry sorting.

After five days of cold pre-fermentation maceration, the wine ferments in a French oak vat with native yeast selected from the estate vineyard and remains on the skins for 19 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new oak, followed by 18 months in new Bordeaux barrels, 95% French oak and 5% Central European oak. Its profile combines ripe fruit, balsamic notes, concentration and freshness with a powerful yet rounded structure.
