It is produced using the ripasso method, whereby the young wine is re-fermented on the Amarone skins, adding structure and complexity. Made from the traditional varieties Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, it shows aromas of ripe cherry, red fruits and subtle spicy notes. On the palate it is balanced and enveloping, with soft tannins, good freshness and a persistent finish.
