Origin

Caprasia means “the land of the goats,” and the label bears tribute to a time when wild goats roamed freely and the region’s original winemaking pioneers practiced viticulture between the Sierra Cabrillas and the River Cabriel in Requena. The Bobal grapes are harvested by hand and fermented using indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of max. 28C in stainless steel vats. The wine is then aged for 14 months in second fill French barrels and clay amphora followed by a further 6 months in bottle prior to being released.
