The story Mas de Daumas Gassac began in 1972 with Aime Gilbert and his wife Veronique discovered the ideal setting to begin this adventure to make some of the most emblematic wines in southern France. Today the business is managed by their sons. The organic vineyards where the grapes for this wine are grown in the very picturesque Saint Hippolyte du fort in the heart of the Languedoc.
Deep red colour. Pronounced aromas of red and black fruits with sweet spices. On the palate it is medium bodied, smooth tannins with flavours of strawberry jam and cherries and black pepper and a long finish
Grilled meats, pasta and rice dishes, hard semi cured cheeses.
