MAN ‘Bosstok’ Pinotage
The name Bosstok refers to the untrellised bush vines, producing lower yields of concentrated, flavourful grapes. Pinotage is a cross between Pinot Noir grape and the Cinsaut grape and is almost exclusively grown in South Africa. Following a traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.
Deep ruby red colour, aromas of red and black berries, spicy with touch of oak. On the palate it is full bodied with flavours of juicy red-berry fruits, together with a smokey character, smooth tannins, and a touch of sweet spice.
Pinotage goes well with a wide range of foods, especially pizza and bbq’s.
