Henschke Tily’s Dry White
Henschke is one of the oldest wineries in Australia, dating back to 1850’s. Fifth-generation Stephen Carl Henschke took over running the winery in 1979. This attractive, aromatic blend is named as a tribute to Stephen’s great-aunt Ottilie Mathilde ‘Tilly’ Henschke, one of the many remarkable pioneering women of the era when daily life saw them work the land, grow their own produce and raise a large family.
Pale straw with lime colour. Beautifully perfumed aromas of blossom, gooseberry and stone-fruit with hints of lemon peel, melon and tropical fruits. On the palate it is fresh with flavours of citrus and nectarine with a hint gooseberry and a long finish.
Grilled white meats, chicken with sweet spices.
