Henschke Henry’s Seven
Henschke is one of the oldest wineries in Australia, dating back to 1850’s. The shiraz, grenache, mataro, viognier blend is a tribute to Henry Evans who planted the first vineyard of seven acres at Keyneton in 1853. Fifth-generation Stephen Carl Henschke took over running the winery in 1979.
Deep crimson with ruby hues. Attractive aromas of plum, redcurrant, blackberry fruits, violets and black pepper spice. The palate is filled with juicy black and red fruits, liquorice and sweet spices, with al long smooth finish.
This full bodied wine will accompany a wide range of meat dishes with rich sauces.
