Brothers in law Daniel Chaffey and Theo Engela own and run Chaffney Bros. Their wines are hand made with minimal intervention from grapes grown throughout the Barossa Valley. Their German heritage and love of the wines inspired many of the wines they make in South Australia. Duft Punkt means ‘the aromatic point’, is a an aromatic white wine made from two German grapes, Riesling and Kerner together Gewürztraminer, grown on higher altitude vineyards where it is cooler. Care is taken to maintain the natural aromas that give this wine its character.
