Cave de Tain LA Terroirs D’Exception
The Cave de Tain in the Northern Rhone is one of France’s best-run wine co-operatives made up of 300 members. The Rhone Valley is the birthplace of the Syrah grape. The terroir of Larange (LA) is one of the oldest vineyards in the region and is unique for its soils rich in kaolin, used to make ceramics. The grapes are hand picked, slowly fermented and aged in 400L French oak barrel for 15 months. Aged for 8 – 10 years.
Deep purple colour, ripe black berry fruits, full bodied with smooth tannins, spices and tobacco.
Ideal to accompany grilled red meat dishes, game and cured cheeses.
