Cave de Tain Crozes-Hermitage Grand Classique Blanc
The Cave de Tain in the Northern Rhone is one of France’s best-run wine co-operatives made up of 300 members. The Marsanne grapes are grown on granite, alluvial soils, giving the wine its distinctive character. The grapes are hand picked, fermented at low temperature, and left in contact with lees for 3 to 8 months.
Pale yellow colour, aromas of pear, lemon and white flowers. On the palate it is well balanced with fresh, withe citrus and white stone frute flavours.
Ideal to accompany seafood, and pasta dishes.
Drink now but will develop over next 4 years.
