Cave de Tain ‘Arenes Sauvages’
The Cave de Tain in the Northern Rhone is one of France’s best-run wine co-operatives made up of 300 members. The Rhone Valley is the birthplace of the Syrah grape, currently one of the most fashionable all over the world. Cornas is the most northerly AC in the region and considered by many to produce the finest and most elegant wines. is a small area on the right bank of the River Rhone. The grapes are hand picked, fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months to add character.
A full bodied Syrah, smooth and elegant with flavours of black cherries, black pepper, tobacco and coffee.
Ideal to accompany red meat, game and cured cheeses.
Aged for 8 – 10 years
