Tormentoso Pinotage comes from the beautiful town of Paarl, South Africa. The name comes from the Portuguese name for The Cape of Good Hope (Cabo di Tormentoso), is a modern twist on the South African classic. The grapes are hand picked from bush vines, grown on rocky, un-irrigated that produce low yields of very high quality grapes. The wines are aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Typical Pinotage aromas of black cherries. On the palate is it smooth with smokey spicy flavours and a hint of vanilla from the oak and soft ripe tannins
