Tormentoso Mourvedre comes from the beautiful town of Paarl, South Africa. The name comes from the Portuguese name for The Cape of Good Hope (Cabo di Tormentoso), is a modern twist on the South African classic. The grapes are hand picked from bush vines, grown on rocky, un-irrigated that produce low yields of very high quality grapes. The wines are aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Red berry fruit and spicy aromas, while on the palate it is elegant with ripe red berry fruit flavours, mixed spices and hint of leather and oak.
Great with hearty country food, beef loin and roast red meat dishes.
