Appealing, up-front aromas of fresh, ripe cherry fruit and light spice, smooth and fruity on the palate with a refreshing cool climate sappiness.

A classic blend sourced from high altitude vineyards in the Victorian Alps. The cooler temperatures produce wines with elegance and refined structures rather than the bigger jammy flavours from warmer irrigated areas.   The Merlot is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel to maintain the fresh fruity flavours whilst the Cabernet Sauvignon component is barrel aged in American oak to add a little richness and complexity to the blend.

Perfect for BBQ’s or with simple pasta and pizza dishes.
