Mandrarossa Grillo is from the southwest of Sicily, where the island slopes gently down towards Africa. It is a wild, unspoilt region of outstanding, unexpected beauty, created by the continuous interaction of Sicily’s most characteristic natural features with elements brought from Africa by the winds and sea.
A straw yellow colour with vivid greenish hints. On the nose, intense and vibrant Sicilian citrus fruits such as lemons and grapefruit, and a light hint of savoury basil.
Ideal served chilled as an aperitif, pairs well with grilled vegetables, fresh cheeses, pork and chicken.
