LFE Malbec Reserva

Origin

LFE Malbec Reserva is crafted from carefully selected grapes, resulting in fruit forward wines which are pleasing in aroma and structure.  Characterised by notes of fresh fruit and touches of oak yet smooth, making it a great accompaniment to a variety of your favorite dishes. This red varietal is aged in French and American oak for 6 to 8 months.

Style

This wine presents a bright purple red color, with deep red hues. In the nose, intense aromas of violets, mature dark fruit and black pepper, well-balanced with soft notes of dark chocolate and a slight smokiness. On the palate it is silky and soft, pleasing with a present acidity, soft and mature tannins, and hints of mocha and vanilla. A long finish rounds out this appealing wine.

Food Pairing

Grilled white and red meats, roasted or grilled vegetables, pasta dishes with mushrooms and fresh herbs.
