Lauca Reserva Pinot Noir
There is a llama named Lauca who has been keeping a watchful eye over the Guerra family vineyards for years. Father and son both winemakers and both called Renato Guerra produce exceptional wines from 665 hectares of very unique terroir in the Maule Valley with very poor alluvial soils fed by cool glacial streams.
Selected grapes from low yielding vines from cool mountain vineyards are fermented and then aged for 5 months in French Oak barrels.
Concentrated, savoury, textural Pinot Noir with more structure from the additional oak aging. A line of lovely, pure red fruit comes through on the finish.
