Jealous Sisters Sauvignon Blanc
A lovely balance between fleshy fruit, aromatics and delicate spice.
A typical Wairarapa Sauvignon Blanc nose of Granny Smith apples and green pepper. There is a citrus note of lemon peel that complements the mineral undertones and length of the palate. The wine is crisp and fresh with a restrained
elegance. Drink now, or cellar for up to two years.
The Gladstone Vineyards are owned by Christine Kernohan, a Scottish lady who has lived in New Zealand 40 years. Established on the old riverbed of the Ruamahanga River at Gladstone, at the foot of NZ’s North Island, delightfully rolling country with soils and elevations perfect for Pinots; they are proud to be one of New Zealand’s most beautiful vineyards.
Goes great with lightly curried chicken with rice, baked salmon fillet.
