De Gras Carmenere Reserva
De Gras Carmenere Reserva is made by Viña MontGras, in Chile’s Colchagua Valley.
The winery was established in 1992 by brothers Hernán and Eduardo Gras, together with their partner Cristián Hartwig. The MontGras estate today encompasses over 200 hectares planted in the heart of Chile’s premier wine producing region.
“The philosophy is to create modern Chilean wines that offer exceptional quality and value. We have all the equipment and technology, but it’s the people that make the difference. Crafting wine is an art in which you must use all your senses,” says Hernan Gras, President and Winemaker at MontGras.
De Gras Carmenere Reserva is deep purple in colour with a full bouquet of spice, oak and black fruit and a firm but juicy palate with plum, damson and raisin characters alongside well integrated oak and layers of vanilla.
Teriyaki pork chops, lamb chops with minted potatoes and zucchini or a nice sirloin steak.
