Cape Heights Chenin Blanc
A fresh, dry Chenin with broad appeal displaying classic baked apple and zippy citrus aromas with soft, delicate apple fruit on the palate well balanced by crisp acidity. Extended lees contact gives this great value wine some real weight and character.
Led by South African winemaker Marinda Kruger Van Eck the team producing this wine in the Cape are dedicated to produce versatile, expressive, food-friendly wines from this fascinating region. Sourced from bush vine Chenin from Paardeberg area and trellised vines from Paarl as well as old bush vine from Drakenstein area. No irrigation is used on the vineyards and very little crop control is needed due to the age of the vines naturally restricting yield. All grapes are harvested by hand.
A great partner to grilled fish, chicken and salads.
